Process Agency Services

HT Corporate Services Limited (HTCSL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hannaford Turner LLP, providing English process agency services to foreign-incorporated companies and individuals resident outside England and Wales entering into English law and/or jurisdiction documentation.

HTCSL is regularly appointed English process agent under transactional arrangements involving the maritime, transport, energy and commercial property sector, however, the appointment of an English process agent can be a requirement under any sort of contractual arrangement involving English law and/or jurisdiction.

The HTCSL process agency service is stream-lined, the documentation straightforward and in a standard format that allows for the swift completion of appointments and prompt finalisation of the appointment letter which is addressed to the contractual counterparty. The HTCSL documentation also includes a client confirmation letter, which sets out the basis on which HTCSL acts as English process agent for our clients.

Fees charged are one off, rather than annual, providing a simpler and more efficient arrangement for our clients rather than continuous annual fees and fee arrangements are open to discussion depending on circumstances, particularly for multi-entity appointments. Our fees are usually on the basis of the number of appointing entities involved in the transaction and consequently will not increase depending upon the number of documents involved nor the duration of the appointment.

The HTCSL team is led by Alison Lescure who is an English qualified solicitor with many years of experience providing process agent services to a wide range of clients including shipping and ship-management companies, energy and transport companies, airlines, port and drilling operators, yacht owners and brokers and also individuals.
