The sale and purchase of superyachts of all types and sizes is at the forefront of our business. We regularly act for buyers and sellers of superyachts and are known for being pragmatic deal makers and using our considerable experience to find solutions when problems arise or when a degree of creative thinking is required.

We have represented clients from all over the world and closed transactions in a wide range of international locations from Monaco to Miami and everywhere in between. We are comfortable drafting and negotiating transactions on a wide variety of yacht industry standard form sale agreements including the MYBA MOA and the IYBA Purchase Agreement and have excellent relationships with the major superyacht ship registries. We also have experience acting for buyers and sellers who are purchasing or disposing of yachts on a deferred payment / seller finance basis and acting for buyers purchasing fractional ownership shares in superyachts.

• Acting for the seller of an 86m Dutch built sailing yacht.
• Acting for the purchaser of an 82m British built motor yacht and its subsequent post purchase refit.
• Acting for the purchaser of an 80m Dutch built motor yacht.
• Acting for the purchaser of a 60m Dutch built sailing yacht.
• Acting for the purchaser of a 58m New Zealand built sailing yacht.
• Acted for the seller of a 50+ metre Dutch built motor yacht on a deferred payment / seller finance basis involving the preparation and negotiation of suite of security documents securing the seller’s interests in the yacht including a vessel mortgage, deed of covenants, deferred payment agreement, assignment of insurances and corporate guarantee and the procurement of mortgagee interest insurance.
• Acted for the purchaser of a 46m Italian built motor yacht – this was one of the first yachts to be bought and sold during the COVID-19 pandemic and took place at a time of global lockdowns, travel restrictions, mandatory work from home requirements and other restrictions.
• Acted for the purchaser of a 44 metre Dutch built motor yacht.
• Acted for the purchaser of a 34 metre Italian motor yacht.
• Acted for the purchaser in purchasing a 1/6th fractional ownership share in a new 40m Italian built motor yacht.
